A Passion Project Long in the Making
About
The first thing I ever fell in love with was words. Reading, writing, editing; I loved every aspect. I'd spend hours journaling and editing friends' stories. I would read articles, books, poems, anything I could get my hands on.
Next came fashion. I covered my walls with outfits I’d design, and filled my school notebooks with doodles of shoes, bags, and anything else I could dream up. Every season, I’d sit glued to my computer screen, watching fashion week unfold from cities I longed to visit.
Then came photography. In high school, while others went through rebellious phases, my friends and I had photoshoots. We’d dress for the moment, choose a location that felt right, and explore whatever setting we found ourselves in. We would travel to Soho in New York City and look into stores we never thought we could afford, or go to Princeton University's campus where academics and history thrived. Regardless of the location, I had my lens and started to develop a vision of my own.
Finally, I discovered my greatest passion: travel. Travel quickly became a part of who I am. It’s what I happily make sacrifices for, what I plan far in advance, and what I look forward to with the most excitement. I began to find such a deep joy in experiencing the cultures of new places. From the food to the languages and even the architecture, visiting somewhere new never ceases to take my breath away.
Bringing together my love of words, fashion, photography, and exploration feels natural and irresistible. And that’s how Carry Ons and Couture was born: a space where travel and couture meet seamlessly, through my stories and photographs, all in one place.

Mission + Vision

A Special Thanks
Thank you to everyone who has helped to make Carry-Ons and Couture possible. Without your support and friendship, I would still be searching for myself and a way to make this possible.
From the people I dragged along on my own trips to those kind enough to invite me to see the world, this wouldn't be possible without you.
